From the Dealership Floor to Canyon County’s Trusted Shop
Scott’s career began on the floor of a corporate dealership, where he spent more than 20 years mastering diagnostics, repair, customer service, and the inner workings of the automotive industry. Along the way, he developed a deep expertise in the trade but also became deeply frustrated.
The corporate dealership environment, for all its resources, treated customers as transactions and technicians as numbers. Honesty took a back seat to margin. Integrity was something that showed up in the mission statement but rarely in the service drive. Scott knew there was a better way to run an auto shop, one built on integrity, transparency, quality workmanship, and real relationships.
In 2020, he stepped away from the dealership world and opened Archers Auto Repair, dedicated to clear, honest recommendations, quality workmanship, and treating every customer with respect from the moment they walk through the door. The response from the community was immediate. What began as one shop built on strong values quickly grew into one of the area’s most trusted independent auto repair businesses, now proudly serving drivers in both Caldwell and Nampa.
